AECOM is seeking a
Mechanical Engineer-Technical Services Engineer 4 to be based in our Aiken, SC; Oak Ridge, TN; or Richland, WA location. The Engineer is responsible for perform a variety of engineering assignments in planning and overseeing research, development, design, manufacture, test, installation, operation, and maintenance of diverse electronic/mechanical equipment and systems and generally as a member of a design, analysis or review team on more complex assignments or as a lead on less complex assignments.

Responsible for performing a variety of engineering assignments in planning and overseeing research, development, design, manufacture, test, installation, operation, and maintenance of diverse electronic/mechanical equipment and systems and generally as a member of a design, analysis or review team on more complex assignments or as a lead on less complex assignments.
Perform design, development or review tasks in specific areas under close supervision.
Design a portion or section of an analysis or design review.
Assist in generation of specifications and engineering data.
Assist in the preparation of reports and correspondence.
Establish and maintain a filing system or databases as needed for tracking project status.
Develop, maintain and produce technical documentation and system/subsystem specifications.
Interface with customers in design reviews and technical working group meetings to comply with requirements and specifications.
Verify and comply with engineering documentation standards and test procedures.
Performs all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test and background.

Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering with 7 years of experience in an Engineering setting
Experience with mechanical engineering in field and design work. Ability to perform calculations and analysis of mechanical engineering problems.
Candidate must be eligible to obtain a DOE Q clearance.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills.
Due to the nature of work, candidate must be a US Citizen.
Master degree in Mechanical Engineering
Experience with DOE
PE License Preferred
GPA for 3.0 or higher is desired
