AECOM Performance Assurance Lead in Aiken, South Carolina

Savannah River Remediation, an LLC of AECOM, is seeking an Performance Assurance Lead to be based in our Aiken, SC location.
Provides leadership, oversight and technical guidance to support company level and individual program of functional area performance assurance compliance having division and/or site-wide implications. Conducts company level performance analysis and presents results to senior and executive management. Identifies risks based on negative trends detected through data analysis and input from Functional Area Program Managers (FAPM). Monitors trends to assure contract compliance and provides timely feedback as appropriate.
Develops indicators, performance measures, and other appropriate evaluation methodologies to determine the implementation and compliance status of the Liquid Waste (LW) Contractor Assurance System (CAS)
Develops the Quarterly and Annual LW performance evaluation reports for submission to the Department of Energy (DOE)
Serves as the LW Contractor Assurance System technical resource for all functional areas in the development and management of indicators, performance measures, and other appropriate evaluation methodologies to determine the implementation effectiveness of contract assurance management systems
Provides leadership role (task/team leader) in technical decision-making process
Collects and independently evaluates Functional Area Program Manager (FAPM) generated performance data.
Evaluation activities include, but are not limited to:
Ensuring significant negative trends are reported into the DOE Occurrence Reporting and Processing System (ORPS) and entered into the LW Corrective Action Program (CAP) through the STAR database as directed by the LW Executive Safety and Quality Board (ESQB);
Evaluating indicator and performance measure data to identify potential watch list Items and program risks; and,
Conducting independent data searches, evaluating operational reports and indicators, and providing recommendations to the LW ESQB of potential operational weaknesses as appropriate.

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university and 7+ years of experience in an analytical position or role similar to the responsibilities of this position (e.g., Corrective Action, Issue Management, Operational Analysis, Statistical Analysis) OR;
High School Diploma/GED and 11+ years combination of education and/or experience in an analytical role comparable to the responsibilities of this position (e.g., Corrective Action, Issue Management, Operational Analysis, Statistical Analysis)
Experience in complex trending analysis
Due to the nature of the work, the candidate must be a US Citizen
Broad experience in functional areas such as Conduct of Operations, Engineering, or Maintenance
Experience in Commercial Nuclear Utility Performance Assurance program
Excellent verbal communication skills
Excellent technical writing skills
Demonstrated experience interacting with senior management and customers/clients
Experience working at a DOE site or commercial nuclear or other complex industry
Root Cause Analysis certification/training
Experience with Corrective Action Management Systems
Proficient with office software such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
