AECOM is seeking Mid-Level Site Survey Technician to be based in Akron, OH

Job Summary/Responsibilities

  • Responsible for various tasks in the field (including hiking, carrying, bending and lifting)

  • Responsible for safely executing various survey field activities related to the pre-construction surveys of structures, bridges, and roads

  • Serve as a cross-disciplinary resource to best serve the needs of the AECOM Corporation

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements :

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • 6+ years of experience and/or post HS education

  • Understanding of various construction and field tasks

  • Knowledge of mathematical principles

  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs

  • Ability to stand and sit as needed on project work sites. Ability to safely navigate construction work sites, roads, buildings, and areas with uneven terrain

  • This position will require working outdoors in a wide range of weather conditions

  • Must have a strong interest in a career within Survey and Right-of-Way services

  • Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record and the ability to drive regularly

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Previous coursework in surveying, engineering, drafting, mathematics, physics or other relevant technical/scientific programs
