AECOM is seeking Mid-Level Site Survey Technician to be based in Akron, OH

Job Summary/Responsibilities
Responsible for various tasks in the field (including hiking, carrying, bending and lifting)
Responsible for safely executing various survey field activities related to the pre-construction surveys of structures, bridges, and roads
Serve as a cross-disciplinary resource to best serve the needs of the AECOM Corporation
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements :
High School Diploma or equivalent
6+ years of experience and/or post HS education
Understanding of various construction and field tasks
Knowledge of mathematical principles
Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Ability to stand and sit as needed on project work sites. Ability to safely navigate construction work sites, roads, buildings, and areas with uneven terrain
This position will require working outdoors in a wide range of weather conditions
Must have a strong interest in a career within Survey and Right-of-Way services
Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record and the ability to drive regularly
Preferred Qualifications :
- Previous coursework in surveying, engineering, drafting, mathematics, physics or other relevant technical/scientific programs
