Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a Project Engineer to join our Program and Project Management Group for our Arlington, VA location. Candidate will telecommute and will not sit in the Arlington Office. This position is also contingent upon an expected contract award.

Job Details

  • The Project Engineer will work with a team to coordinate the flow of information, provide costs and schedule reviews, monitor the safety programs, and assure that the completed work is constructed to a quality level consistent with the requirements of the construction documents.

  • The Project Engineer will work directly for Amazon’s NA Construction Manager supporting the strategic and tactical delivery of the Delivery Stations Infrastructure Retrofit and fit up project(s) located in the USA.

  • Under direct supervision, performs routine duties requiring knowledge of basic engineering principles.

  • Limited exercise of judgment is required on details of work.

  • Performs specific and limited portions of broader assignments.

  • Spends large percentage of time performing estimating take-offs and performing walk-downs for quantity tracking purposes, reporting of installed quantities, performing field inspections to verify adherence to design.

Minimum Requirements

  • BA/BS + None or AA/AS (US) + 2 years of related experience or HS/GED + 4 years of related experience
