AECOM Offshore Wind Program Director in Arlington, Virginia

Job Summary

AECOM seeks a dynamic Offshore Wind Program Director , to coordinate an integrated offer of permitting, engineering, and energy services to the Offshore Wind market in the Americas.

This leadership position will coordinate between AECOM’s Environment, Energy, and Port & Harbor Engineering practices to deliver an integrated offer across the development lifecycle to our existing and new Offshore Wind Clients. The position will be based in one of our Northeast US offices and will initially build on our leading position in that market and will position for planned federal leases on the Pacific and Gulf Coasts.

The successful candidate will have worked for 10 to 15+ years in Offshore Wind development and will poses direct knowledge the full range of services required to deliver both offshore and supporting port facilities. A proven track record of successful project management and successful collaboration to lead diverse teams drawn from different practices is essential.

This is a remote role that can be based anywhere in the Northeast United States.

Minimum Requirements

BA/BS + 10 years of experience in Offshore Wind programs or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 6 years of leadership.

Experience in the development of an offshore wind projects including program management functions (e.g. budget, schedule, procurement).

Track record managing and/or coordinating both internal and external subject matter experts in the areas of permitting, engineering and supply chain.

Working knowledge of design standards and impacts on offshore wind technology decisions, project development impacts, and project delivery on a regional basis.

Preferred Qualifications

An advanced degree in Business, Planning or Program Management is preferred.
