AECOM is currently seeking a Project Manager IV for our Arlington, VA office.
This person will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
Manages portfolio of clients with multiple projects.
Responsible for delivering revenues assigned from specific clients as a result of repeat business caused by flawless execution of projects.
Consistently delivers profit margins planned.
Consistently completes project without write-downs or multiplier erosion.
Typically manages projects involving RTF (Risk Triggering Factors).
Manages more complex clients and projects.
Has decision-making authority and directs other Project Managers in recognizing risk and uncertainty with plans to mitigate and eliminate such.
Directs staff to operate and minimize exposure to claims.
Supervises and directs Project Managers with multiple projects or program of projects.
Design Execution Project Manager Additional Details :
Serve as Zeus’s agent, consultant, advisor, and authorized representative through all phases of design and construction-related aspects of data center projects, as specified by Zeus
Work with Zeus’s stakeholder groups and third party consultants, design consultants, construction management firms, and construction contractors to administer the design and/or construction contracts on behalf of Zeus.
Coordinate, clarify, and track design packages with Zeus and Zeus’s third-party contractors.
Manage and coordinate design efforts for bundle domestic and international projects.
Manage escalation of design issues to resolution.
Support contract negotiation with Zeus’s third party contractors, typically in concert with Zeus’s project manager (“ PM ”) and legal counsel.
Coordinate and produce Deliverables for each data center design/construction project:.
Complete reports and ensure delivery of documents throughout project duration.
Provide and gather cost estimates working with stakeholders and Zeus’s third party contractors for scope gaps and changes.
Coordinate value engineering efforts.
Coordinate constructability reviews of the project documents.
Ensure design QA/QC is being performed, and report issues and gaps to Zeus.
Oversee invoice/payment application processing, tracking, and reporting.
Negotiate, resolve, and close any outstanding change orders, quality issues, or disputes.
Assist Zeus in scheduling, coordination, and management of Zeus’s third-party contractors and consultants for data center projects
Support program travel to team meetings and general management support.
BA/BS + 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
U.S. Citizenship required, due to the nature of the work.
