You are the first point of contact with Georgia Commute Options and aim to enhance the experience for commuters in Atlanta.

In this position, you will be a member of the outreach team promoting commute options to individuals and organizations in the 20-county metro Atlanta region. Responsibilities:

  • Assist Worksite Advisors in promoting and implementing transportation commuter options programs at employer sites

  • Conduct events at worksites throughout multiple counties in metro Atlanta, including promotion prior to the event and follow up afterward; events can range from GCO registration tables to benefits fairs and special promotions such as Earth Day or Biketober

  • Increase participation at employer partner locations as demonstrated by participation rates in modes that include carpool, vanpool, transit, bike, walk; and increased program participation by registering for incentives and benefits at MyGACommuteOptions.org

  • Work closely with individual commuters to facilitate cost-effective and “green” commuting modes

  • Promote regional marketing programs and modal promotions through community and employer-based outreach efforts (e.g., Try Transit and Biketober)

  • Promote and enroll commuters in regional incentive programs; assist with the administration and delivery of these incentive programs

  • Develop innovative and creative ideas for worksite-based event delivery and creative messaging to engage commuters through in-person and virtual engagement

  • Conduct retention calls to commuters keeping them engaged and interacting with the overall program

  • Interact with employer representatives, human resources staff, state and local transportation officials, and elected officials

  • Prepare and conduct presentations to stakeholders, local employers, and commuters

  • Measure clean commuting at worksites, according to program requirements

  • Cross-train across multiple program aspects including outreach to employers and schools, special promotions, and incentives to support full-service delivery

  • Exceed monthly/quarterly/annual performance metrics
