Job Description
We are seeking a skilled ITS Traffic Signal Technician to join our team in Atlanta, GA. You will be joining a team of experienced engineers and technicians, supporting the State of Georgia’s counties and cities ensuring roadway traffic signaling systems are operational.

Responsibilities:
Installation, maintenance, and repair of ITS and traffic signal systems, including traffic signal cabinets, loop detection systems, and traffic signal electronics.
Assisting in developing traffic studies and design plans for ITS infrastructure, traffic signals, signing, pavement marking, construction sequencing, and traffic control plans.
Troubleshooting ITS and traffic signal equipment, making recommendations for repairs, and ensuring compliance with traffic control device regulations, standards, and specifications.
Managing the maintenance of spare equipment and parts, including inventory management and documentation.
Working with CCTV systems, dynamic message signs, travel time readers, vehicle detection systems, and fiber optics and wireless systems.
Travel to site locations throughout Georgia

Qualifications
Minimum:
High School Diploma or equivalent certification
6 years of traffic signal technician experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Valid US Driver’s License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices. As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review
Preferred:
- Experience with GDOT traffic signal operations and systems

Relocation is not an option for this position
Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $32.00/hour - $44.00/hour.
