Job Summary
AECOM is actively seeking a talented Senior Roadway Engineer to join our Atlanta, Georgia transportation design team. AECOM Transportation Business Line provides a wide variety of civil transportation services to federal, state, county, municipal and port clients. As a senior roadway engineer, you will have responsibility as a lead engineer for highway and roadway design projects. This an optimal career position for an experienced roadway engineering seeking an opportunity to lead a variety of transportation design projects.

Responsibilities:
Provide technical oversight/support.
Plan and manage tasks and team members.
Coordinate with other disciplines.
Ability to interact with client.
Designing roadway geometrics:
Construction plans.
Conceptual development.
Drainage design
Right-of—way plans
Staging plans.
Erosion and sedimentation control
Other related design tasks.
Ability to work effectively in a team based, collaborative environment
Minimum Requirements
BS Civil Engineer and 4 plus years or related roadway design experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Experience with Inroads and MicroStation and/or OpenRoads or similar design applications
Preferred Qualifications
Professional Engineer License
Experience with GDOT and local municipalities roadway design projects
