Job Description

We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Environmental Professional to join our team to support a variety of complex environmental projects that are managed within a programmatic delivery model. Work will involve managing projects within a key strategic industrial program.

Key responsibilities of the position include assisting with:

  • Leading and managing long-term, large projects that have high risk reward, are of high strategic value, and/or have a high level of complexity.

  • Providing project level technical leadership and strategic direction.

  • Championing ethical and safe working practices.

  • Driving innovation in project management approaches and methodologies to achieve marketplace differentiation.

  • Working with the Program Manager and Senior Practice Leaders to enhance business growth.

  • Identifying risk and pro-actively takes actions to positively impact project outcomes.

  • Contributing to project team development strategy, including identification of talent gaps and resourcing plans.

  • Accountable for overall project financial success and delivery

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Science, and Environmental Engineering and + 6 years of experience and/or education or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

  • Must be a US Citizen

  • Must be able to pass client background and drug screenings

  • This position may be subject to a pre-employment Motor Vehicle Record Screening.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree

  • Strong technical capability across all phases environmental of work.

  • Has significant experience with programmatic delivery.

  • Able to demonstrate a high level of expertise in applicable technical areas and is frequently called on by clients and peers to position or deliver complex programs.

  • Has a detailed understanding of the competencies needed for success on complex projects and can critically evaluate and apply the competencies, as required.

  • Able to develop strong relationships and manage all client stakeholders (internal and external).

  • Demonstrates exemplary leadership attributes that provide role modelling for others.

  • Able to build consensus to change project strategy in challenging situations.

  • Demonstrated ability to set long term goals and strategies and establish effective management of internal and external interfaces and interdependencies.

  • Has built diverse and inclusive teams to enable collective success through trust, psychological safety, autonomy, accountability, and alignment.

  • Possesses a minimum of 10 years professional experience.

  • Professional Licensure.

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $90,000.00 - $120,000.00.
