AECOM is seeking an Entry-Level Subcontracts Administrator to be based in multiple locations across USA.
This position is expected to begin in August 2021.

As a member of the corporate team, you will work with professionals at our headquarters in downtown Los Angeles, California and in business offices around the world to advance AECOM’s global strategies and priorities. With positions around the globe, the Corporate team includes finance, legal, human resources, information technology, marketing and communications, and real estate functions.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to those listed below:
Follow and enforce procurement related policies and procedures.
Develop intermediate understanding of subcontracting terminology, measures, concepts, principles, and strategies.
Foster relationships internally with stakeholders and externally with suppliers and other groups.
Present the subcontracting and procurement process to stakeholders in an effective manner.
Challenge the business when projects departs from basic procurement principles.
Communicate effectively, resolve conflicts, solve problems, and make efficient and effective supply management decisions.
Perform subcontracting and procurement functions.
Develop understanding of procurement systems and tools.
Prepare and solicit Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Proposal (RFP) and Requests for Quotation (RFQ) for all services and goods.
Prepare and executes Purchase Orders and Subcontracts.
Negotiate deviations from company T&C and minimum insurance requirements.
Maintain subcontract and procurement documentation.
Contact subcontractors for timely submittal of proposals and clarifications.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, construction management, economics or a related field or a demonstrated equivalent combination of education, training, and related experience.
C.P.M. (Certified Purchasing Manager) or CPSM (Certified Professional Supply Manager) certification.
Experience in subcontracting or other procurement and materials management functions.
Understanding of subcontracting and procurement terminology, measures, concepts, principles and strategies.
Understanding of legal terminology related to procurement.
Competency to perform subcontracting and procurement management functions.
Experience in managing tactical and strategic supplier relationships.
Intermediate analytical abilities.
Advanced computer skills and ability to use procurement systems.
Proficient in Microsoft word, excel and PowerPoint.
