AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Production Manager - Disaster Recovery for immediate employment in the Baton Rouge, LA office.
The Production Accountant will assist with the implementation of Disaster Recovery Programs, including the oversight of reporting staff and distribution of resources within a specific functional area. The Production Manager should maintain a complete understanding of all applicable Program policies and requirements.
The Production Accountant will be responsible for the following:
Provide analytical support and expertise in summarizing Program data;
Evaluate and present information in a manner that will facilitate senior management's understanding of the results and impact;
Monitor production rates and identify roadblocks, need for process improvements, and inefficiencies in processes;
Provide oversight of reporting and information systems staff, as needed;
Identify solutions to non-standard requests and problems;
Writing specifications for information systems, understanding operational systems and translating requirements into technical specifications, designing and implementing system modifications;
All aspects of information systems and interactions with client provided system. Ability to interact and communicate with staff to understand results desired and create strategies to produce desired requirements.
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university
5+ years of professional level experience in reporting, data management, financial reporting and/or analytics
Advanced level Microsoft Office skills; ability to import, create formulas, pivot tables, export data and run reports in Microsoft Excel; ability to quickly learn new software applications;
Experience with CDBG housing and/or FEMA hazard mitigation programs or similar programs/projects;
2+ years of experience gathering business requirements and analyzing data;
Must possess flexibility to respond to and manage different tasks, often with competing priorities;
Advanced time management skills which utilize high-level strategies that aid staff in managing time, productivity, and effectiveness
Relevant advanced degrees are preferred
Related professional registrations or certification preferred
5+ years of disaster recovery industry experience preferred
