AECOM Project Manager - Environmental Remediation in Baton Rouge, Louisiana

AECOM is seeking a talented and experienced Environmental Project Manager. This full-time position within our Environmental group will lead a team to help manage a variety of oil and gas assessment and remediation projects with oversight from senior managers and technical experts. The ideal candidate will require a strong focus on health and safety, be detailed orientated, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to work independently, and will be capable of working collaboratively. Applicants will have no less than 10 years of experience in prominent roles performing and managing investigations of petroleum impacts.Other responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below :
Manages and directs professional and technical staff to complete environmental assessment and remedial projects
Leads team by utilizing advanced scientific principles, theories, practices existing technologies and past experience to develop technical solutions to complex problems
Interprets and records data, conducts analyses, compares findings to relevant studies and local, state and federal regulations to ensure compliance
Analyzes financial statements and completes budget tracking
Familiar with project invoicing and cash flow management
Performs work with minimal direction with periodic reporting to area manager
Oversees the preparation of work plans and organizes project studies
Supervises junior and mid-level staff during all phases of project work
Proven experience with regulator and stakeholder negotiations
Responsible for quality control of tasks
Mentor project junior staff
Will require some regional travel for field visits.

BA/BS in Geology, Engineering, Science or related field, + 8 years of relevant experience and/or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Candidates must be willing to travel on occasion as needed.
Must have valid U.S. Driver's License.
Bachelor's Degree in Geology, Engineering, Science or related field, with 10+ years overall professional experience
Detail oriented with strong organizational and communication, both verbal and written skills Experience in team management and scheduling of staff and resources to ensure on time and on budget project delivery
Superior communications, writing, editing, and reporting skills, for a wide variety of audiences
Experience preparing proposals, cost estimates, schedules, and change orders
Understands and have led teams of professionals in executing Site Investigations, Remedial Investigations, Feasibility Studies, Risk Assessment, and Treatability Studies in support of Federal environmental projects
