AECOM Airport Senior PM (Landside) in Bogota, Colombia

Job Summary

AECOM Colombia seeks a Senior Airport Project Manager- Landside to support our expansion of the LATAM Airport program.

Primary Focus Will Include:

  • Lead Land Side (Terminal and Ancillary Buildings) design teams in Aviation Projects

  • Serve as Landside Specialist

  • Interact with Program owner and other stakeholders to understand needs and requests.

  • Verify compliance with International Standards

  • Verify compliance of scope

  • Interact with local and regional Management when requested

  • Provide support for estimation and development of Aviation Related Proposals

  • Manage the potential change orders from the contractors.

  • Essential Responsibilities:

  • Provide Technical Guidance and lead the Discipline Lead into developing the scope following highest standards and state of the art process.

  • Serve as a liaison within the project teams to assure the most efficient and cost-effective execution of assigned projects.

  • Coordinates work efforts and reviews work performed. Schedules and manages for integration of quality management during all phases of a project.

  • Responsible for performance evaluations, work allocation, training and mentoring of staff.

  • Responsible for the coordination of all the disciplines, to assure the most efficient and cost-effective execution of assigned projects.

Minimum Requirements

  • University Degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering

  • 10 or more years of leadership experience managing large airport infrastructure projects.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 12 or more years of experience leadership on large transportation infrastructure projects with majority in airport projects.

  • Demonstrable history of successful leadership on airport projects.

  • Bilingual English and Spanish

  • Previous experience leading projects and teams on complex projects and/or airport design and construction projects
