Job Summary
AECOM Colombia is seeking a Contracts Manager to be based in Bogota to support the Multiple projects.
Duties + Responsibilities
Key responsibilities of the Senior Contracts Manager include but are not limited to; Due diligence in support of projects with new Clients/JV's/Teaming arrangements, Contract Risk Analysis, contract task order proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contracts policy compliance, project audits, project property management, penalty evaluation, changes order managements and any other business related support required by the program/project management.
Candidate will serve as the primary project interface with the client's contracting official and must have strong record-keeping and communication skills.
Must ensure adherence to the firm's signature authority policy, coordinate with Corporate Audit Group and support periodic internal project audits, outside project audits by clients, and federal agency audits.
The Contracts Manager must possess the ability to concurrently manage and support multiple contract types and task orders and respond to project/client directives and requests involving financial information, contract compliance, cost proposals, project audit, project accounting, insurance, property and other administrative issues.
Review and approve the application of accurate contract rate data in the preparation of proposal and contract information.
In conjunction with the AECOM Project Manager, develop the negotiation strategy and conduct contract negotiations with the client.
On projects will participate in technical proposal preparation in compliance with the RFP requirements and other firm policies and procedures.
Minimum Requirements
University Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related degree
8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in contracting, bidding, source selection, and procurement regulations and laws; experience with audit standards and federal cost principles
10+ Years contract administration/management experience. Must also have experience in maintaining databases and working with spreadsheets.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook).
The ideal candidate must have solid understanding of risk management, assessment, and planning as well as possess the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multitasking environment, love challenges and details, be resourceful, and have great organizational and time management skills.
Outstanding communication, negotiation and business management skills.
