Nuclear Waste Partnership, an LLC of AECOM, is seeking an experienced
Procurement Compliance Specialist in Carlsbad, New Mexico.
The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing purchase order and subcontract terms and conditions for compliance to policies, procedures, and regulations. Ensure compliance requirements are established, kept current, and communicated to the Procurement department and organization staff. Manage self-audits, compliance issue resolution and procedure compliance requirements, education/training, and guidance on operational requirements. Develop self-audit schedules and perform all audit reporting requirements. Coordinate, track, and respond to internal and external audits. Prepare reports from audits with clear and concise findings and recommendations. Develop and manage tracking system for compliance related issues. Prepare reports on status of findings and remedial measures as required.
Bachelor’s degree with six (6) years progressive procurement related experience, or
Associate’s degree with ten (10) years of progressive procurement experience, or
High School Diploma or GED with fourteen (14) years of progressive procurement experience is required.
Due to the nature of work, candidates must be US Citizens.
Experience in procurement and subcontracting in Federal Contract Management with Department of Energy (DOE) or Department of Defense (DOD) is desired.
Some knowledge and understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and/or Department of Energy Acquisition Regulations (DEAR) is preferred.
Previous procurement compliance experience is a plus.
