Job Summary

J.W. Williams, Inc. an AECOM Company, is seeking a highly talented Product Designer in support of current and new pursuits. This position is currently classified as Part-Time with a variable work schedule and will be based in our Casper, WY office.


  • Provides fabrication drawings of ASME vessels/piping, API heaters and AISC Structural.

  • Familiarity with codes, permits, and software applications related to the discipline.

  • Responsible for developing fabrication drawings through completion for assigned projects in conformance with the requirements, applicable codes, and design criteria established by the Company’s standards.

  • Basic understanding of the purpose and use of vendor documents as reference for assigned tasks.

  • Can assist in performing material take-offs for the discipline.

  • Must have capabilities to work remotely.

  • Must be able to complete tasks within given time frames with little or no supervision.

Minimum Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • AA/AS + 2 years of experience OR HS/GED + 4 years of experience on Oil & Gas process equipment to include, but not limited to: pressure vessels, piping systems, AISC Structural design and natural gas dehydration.

  • Proficient with AutoCAD 2D.

  • Proficient with Solidworks.

  • Proficient in MS Office Products.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge in ASME and ANSI codes/standards.

  • Knowledge in producing and reading PID/Schematic type Drawings.

  • The ability to understand engineering documents, codes and specifications.

  • Knowledge in Solidworks Routing and Weldment functions.

  • Willing and able to work in a fabrication shop environment
