AECOM Carpenter Superintendent in Chattanooga, Tennessee

Shimmick Construction an AECOM CO., is seeking a Carpenter Superintendent to be based in our Chattanooga, Tennessee location.
Provide field supervision for multiple crews consisting of carpenters, iron workers, and laborers for the construction of the lock chamber inside a sheet pile cell cofferdam.
Develop and coordinate work plans and schedule to ensure daily, weekly, and monthly goals are achieved.
Coordinate resources (craft personnel, equipment, supplies) needed to complete the work in accordance with the plan and schedule.
Responsibilities are to ensure assigned job site operations are in compliance with design/specifications, completion on schedule, within budget and to quality standards. Interfaces with all other administrative field staff, field management staff and particularly the Project Construction Manager in a coordinated effort.
Bachelor’s degree in a construction related discipline and 6 years of experience in heavy civil works construction and field construction or demonstrated combination of equivalent education and experience.
Demonstrated Equivalence: AA degree plus 8 years of related experience OR High School Diploma/GED plus 10 years of related experience.
Heavy civil form works experience.
Experience with Peri, Doka, Effco, and/or Symons forming system.
U.S. Army Corps of Engineering experience.
Lock dam experience.
