AECOM Aviation Project Manager in Chicago, Illinois
Job Summary
AECOM Aviation group is seeking an experienced Aviation Project Manager. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated familiarity with the Transportation / Aviation industry and excelled in leading the execution of projects. Responsibilities
The Aviation Project Manager will have the opportunity to manage a wide array of aviation projects with general and commercial aviation clients such as:
Reconstruction of Airport Terminal Apron and Utilities
Reconstruction of Airport Terminal Roadways and Utilities
Reconstruction of Central Terminal Roadways and Utilities
Airport Ground Transportation Center
Air Cargo Buildings
Project management of aviation design projects for commercial service and general aviation airports
Construction administration and oversite for aviation clients
Collaborate and coordinate with multi-disciple teams of design engineers and technicians

Minimum Requirements
BS degree in engineering with 6 years of experience preferably with aviation projects (Landside or Airside) or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Licensed Professional Engineer or ability to obtain within one year (NY, NJ license preferred)
Proficient in design software packages such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, aviation specialty programs
Previous experience working with a multi-disciplined team while overseeing project execution
Experience in construction administration for development projects at airports
Valid US drivers license required
Periodic travel to project/client site will be required
Preferred Qualifications
8+ years of experience with aviation projects (Landside or Airside) preferred
A strong desire for growth, long-term thinking, and relationship building skills.
Responsive and consistent in communications.
Excellent organizational, communication, leadership and problem solving skills
Offered rate of compensation (Colorado locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is: $90,000 to 140,000.
