Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Capture Manager - TSG Consultant to lead the development of competitive proposals from start to finish. This role involves managing the proposal process, ensuring compliance with solicitation requirements, coordinating with subject matter experts, and working with marketing resources to prepare and deliver winning proposals.
This position requires strong project management skills, the ability to develop compelling written content, and the creativity to integrate branding, visual storytelling, and persuasive messaging into proposal materials.
Key Responsibilities:
Proposal Development: Manage the end-to-end development of proposals, including reviewing solicitation documents, outlining response strategies, and ensuring that marketing resources are receiving content in accordance with the capture timeline.
Writing & Editing: Work with technical experts and stakeholders to develop compelling, well-written content that effectively conveys our value proposition.
Marketing & Branding Support: Work with marketing resources to develop collateral, presentation materials, and other strategic communication tools to support business development efforts.
Graphic & Visual Design Integration: Collaborate with graphic designers and marketing teams to incorporate branding, infographics, and visual storytelling elements into proposals and presentations.
Compliance & Quality Control: Ensure proposals adhere to all solicitation guidelines, formatting requirements, and evaluation criteria.
Team Coordination: Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, including technical experts, marketing resources, graphic designers, and pricing specialists, to produce winning proposals.
Proposal Reviews: Organize and manage color team reviews, incorporating feedback to improve proposal quality.
Production & Submission: Oversee the final proposal production, ensuring timely and compliant submission to the client.
Pipeline Management: Track upcoming opportunities, manage proposal calendars, and coordinate multiple pursuits simultaneously.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
BA or BS plus 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Business Development on major pursuits (Gross revenue $50 million or greater) for the last 5 years.
Engineering business development background.
Requires flexibility to travel on a regular basis.
Preferred Requirements:
10 or more years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute winning strategies for major projects and programs
Strong understanding of the A/E/C industry, specifically in water resources, wastewater, water treatment, and piping/conveyance marketplace.
Proven strong strategic writing, illustration, and communication skills.
Being able to develop strategic initiatives in emerging markets is desired.
Be able to participate in creating a track record of winning bids at 60% or greater.
Must have the ability and desire to work with and mentor key employees – helping them learn business development tools and processes.
Must possess the ability to work across multiple markets or business lines.
Must have the ability to work collaboratively with various market leaders and regional executives in a matrix organization.
Active membership and participation within various engineering markets (e.g. DBIA, ASCE, AWWA, WEF, etc.).
Additional Information
This position does not offer relocation assistance.

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $110,000.00 - $135,000.00.
