Job Description
AECOM is seeking a talented IT Infrastructure Manager to join our Applied Technology Team to support AECOM’s Chicago Department of Water Management Program.
Principle Areas of Responsibility
IT Infrastructure planning, installation, maintenance, and upgrade of IT systems.
Install, configure, and support data and voice infrastructure, including local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), wireless, microwave, and other network components.
Install, configure, and maintain networking equipment such as load balancers (Citrix, Barracuda), switches (Cisco) and routers (Cisco, Juniper).
Maintains network performance by performing regular network monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning; troubleshooting network problems; escalating problems to vendor support.
Install, configure, and maintain Internet gateway security systems, such as firewall (PaloAlto), VPN concentrators, anti-virus (EDR), and anti-spam devices and services.
Install, configure, and maintain network servers, such as file servers, print servers, DHCP, DNS, SQL servers, IIS servers, Exchange servers, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V.
Install, configure, and maintain wide area network (WAN) using VPN, point to point and other network technologies.
Install, configure, and support of various network and computer systems, including Cisco network equipment, Dell and Cisco UCS servers, Oracle appliance equipment and NetApp storage systems.
Secures network by developing network access, monitoring, control, and evaluation; maintain and update documentations.
Configure and maintain active directory services, group policies, user accounts for staff and guests.
Maintain archive and backup systems for servers and storage systems (NetBackup, Cohesity).
Manage and ensure up to date cyber security measure and city compliance standards.
Configure and support Cisco VoIP phone system and IP phones.
Maintain security standards and procedures.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- BA/BS + 10 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 2 years of leadership.
Preferred Qualifications:
10 or more years providing similar services or equivalent I.T. background.
Knowledge and understanding of storage area networks and technologies (NetApp filers) is a plus.
Knowledge and experience in Microsoft 365 and cloud migration is desired.
Bachelor's degree in I.T. or related field, or equivalent in work experience is required.
Microsoft, Cisco or VMware certification is desirable.
