Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Materials Control Specialist II to support our Water Business Line in Chicago, Illinois.

Job Responsibilities:
Using company cornerstone systems and policies, and working under general supervision, assists in tracking material quantities, receiving goods, preparation of documents, physical inventories and maintenance of records.
Applies Company materials management systems and processes.
Applies logistics terminology, measures, concepts and principles.
Has extensive knowledge regarding the impact that logistics has on various project actions.
Checks order receivable logs against original order documentation to verify an accurate match. Provides technical assistance and expertise.
Analyses department turnaround and accuracy reports.
Investigates issues and concerns with processes and proposes improvements to procedures. Provides recommendations to resolve problems.
Prepares, maintains, and analyzes periodic measurement reports.
Provides analysis and recommends action plans to ensure key measurements are met.
Coordinates efforts with other Materials Management discipline groups as needed.
Has frequent contact with individuals representing outside organizations.
Plans and prepares communications which require skill, tact, persuasion and/or negotiation to accomplish the objectives of the communication.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Preferred Qualifications:
- Working experience related to water/wastewater or water resources
