Job Description
AECOM has an opening for a Program Manager to support our growing Energy Business Line. The Program Manager will lead the development and manage the implementation of decarbonization and electrification programs, projects, and initiatives.

Responsibilities for the position include, but may not be limited to, the following:
Manage complex projects that tend to be larger in scope and dollar, thereby increasing the potential for larger change orders and consequences of error.
Coordinate day-to-day aspects of projects including quality of work product, client communications, scheduling, and utilizing technical staff to service projects to ensure project completion.
Manage development and delivery of technical reports.
Deliver effective sales presentations and response to questions and inquiries from industry professionals in an accurate and timely manner.
Increasing responsibility for leadership of direct reports.
DCS—Energy
AECOM’s Energy practice provides a wide range of services from consulting and engineering design to energy engineering, energy procurement and construction (EPC) for power, energy efficiency, and renewable energy clients. Our understanding of the big picture – and the interconnection between generation, distribution, storage, and the demand side of the meter – allows us to deliver holistic strategies that improve and modernize next generation energy infrastructure. We connect knowledge and experience across our global framework to bring together a unique combination of engineers, planners, scientists, and project managers who advance cleaner, secure, and more sustainable energy solutions.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements :
BA/BS in Mechanical Engineering, Construction or closely related field with 10 years of relevant experience within the energy efficiency or building efficiency industry or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
A general knowledge of the financial, technical and political aspects driving both the energy efficiency, distributed energy resources, smart energy and utility industries and energy infrastructure development (Utility energy efficiency programs, statewide energy planning, building optimization, data analytics, renewables and, energy conservation measures)
Familiarity with utility energy efficiency, renewable energy, and decarbonization programs.
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience managing a team of engineers for delivering quality products within scope and budget
P.E., M.B.A., C.E.M., or LEED AP® certification (or on track to receive) is desirable.
Strong presentation skills, including presentation material design (PowerPoint)
Strong writing skills and ability to communicate complex processes or ideas simplistically
Strong communication skills (written and oral)
Familiarity with utility energy efficiency, renewable energy, and decarbonization programs.
