AECOM is seeking an experienced Senior Water/Wastewater Project Manager for our Chicago office. The qualified applicant will have experience in water/wastewater engineering and construction management principles, and will be familiar with the design, construction, and operation of municipal water and/or wastewater treatment and conveyance infrastructure.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Technical oversight of design staff and team members for projects associated with municipal water / wastewater / drainage infrastructure improvements.
Providing specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.
Participating in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.
Developing construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects.
Performing quality control review of design calculations or drawings.
Preparing technical specification sections.
Providing input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements.
Providing guidance and mentoring to entry and mid-level engineers.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- BA/BS + 10 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 2 years of leadership experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Registered Professional Engineer
10+ years of relevant industry experience
Previous experience with AutoCAD
Strong working knowledge of industry standard computer software for the position (e.g., AutoCAD, ArcGIS, Hydrologic/Hydraulic models)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Project management experience
A strong sense of commitment, a willingness to learn, and a desire to work in a dynamic environment
Additional Information
Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $160,000.00 - $225,000.00.
