Job Description
We are growing our team, looking for skilled, ambitious, and enthusiastic full-stack software developers to join our Digital AECOM Core Products team. As a full-stack developer, you will join a global, talented, experienced software development team building AECOM software products that leverage data through cloud IaaS/PaaS, JavaScript frameworks, .net backend services, systems integrations, and cloud data storage.
The successful candidate will have relevant commercial experience and will have proven design and development skills delivering to quality, time and budget. They will have experience of working as part of software teams developing a variety of technologies including C#, JavaScript, Databases and HTML5.The role would suit a self-motivated individual looking to advance their career in a dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to join an accomplished, global software development team producing innovative products for our internal and external clients.
This position will offer flexibility for primarily remote/virtual work from Chicago, IL and Dallas, TX.
Responsibilities:
The Software Developer will be responsible for developing, maintaining and supporting software applications, predominately for our global business.
The appropriate level of technical expertise is required in order that the Job/ Project Accountabilities listed below can be carried out to the necessary standards:
Receive project brief and conduct the work with supervision.
Plan and undertake small projects under the guidance of a senior developer.
Ensure technical content and quality of output produced is in line with the project brief.
Produce deliverables against agreed timescales and in line with budget.
Attend project progress meetings and clearly present task overviews.
Contribute to the design and planning of larger projects

Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
BA/BS plus 2 years of relevant software / application development experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Experience with the following web development stack:
C#
JavaScript/Html5/CSS
Web front-end frameworks such as Angular/React
Good knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :
3 or more years of relevant software/application development experience
2+ years of hands-on experience building web applications using multiple parts of the following technology stack:
.NET-based microservice architecture
Angular front-end
MVC architecture patterns
SQL Server or MongoDb
RabbitMQ
Agile software development using Azure DevOps (VSTS, TFS)
Containerized deployment using Docker and Kubernetes
Good appreciation of software architecture and its real-world implications
Systems integration (REST API)Unit and Integration testing
Good communication and established team working skills
