AECOM is seeking an experienced Senior Archaeologist/ Principal Investigator to join our Cincinnati, OH ream.
Senior Archaeologist/ Principal Investigator responsibilities include:
Oversight of junior staff
Coordination with federal and state agencies, including regional SHPOs
Direction and management of archaeological fieldwork, site recordation, technical reporting, artifact analysis
Supervision of field directors and team leads
Technical writing in support of Phase I and II project work
Proposal preparation and support
Working with approved budgets and scopes of work

BS Degree in Archaeology, Anthropology or related field.
A minimum of 6 years of prior and recent experience as a Senior Archeologist/ Principal Investigator and/or team lead.
Out of state travel will be required on an as needed basis.
Valid U.S. Driver's license is required.
MS Degree in Archaeology, Anthropology or related field.
Experience with either precontact or historic archaeological analysis and practices in the Midwestern United States (preference for precontact specialists).
Experience with various regional, state, and federal cultural resource management regulations, including a good working knowledge of NEPA and Section 106.
Excellent technical writing and communication.
Ability to work in a professional environment and as part of a team.
