AECOM Senior Water Resource Engineer in Cleveland, Ohio

United States of America - Michigan, Grand Rapids

Job Summary

This position would join our Michigan Water Resources Team. We are flexible on working location, but looking forsomeone to primarily work in the Michigan or Ohio territories at AECOM office locations or working remotely from home. This position will manage and lead technical tasks, project management, develop scope/fee and assist in business development/proposal preparation, and mentor young engineers for the following types of projects:

  • Hydrology/hydraulic analysis, and civil design for water resource and transportation projects.

  • Stormwater Management Plans and green infrastructure design.

  • Dam removal/modifications and river restoration projects to include design, permitting, modeling, dam break analysis.

  • Floodplain mapping and assessments.

  • Bridge and culvert hydraulics and design, run-off quantity and quality estimation, open channel and closed conduit flow, one and two-dimensional flow analysis, surface flow, and dam design and operation.

Minimum Requirements

BA/BS + 6 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Preferred Qualifications

MS Degree preferred

10 years in Water/ wastewater Engineering

2 years in consulting

Client facing experience

Experience with the following programs preferred: HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM, AutoCAD, MicroStation
