Job Description
AECOM is hiring an experienced and talented Senior Bridge Engineer to lead impactful bridge design projects. This position offers a hybrid work model and can be based in any of our South Carolina offices: Columbia, Charleston, or Greenville.
Job Content:
Lead engineer on mid and large-size projects
Participates in the development of technical proposals
Presents complex technical solutions to clients
Market bridge and structural design services to clients
Lead junior engineers and work successfully on a team.
Provides specialized technical input and oversight to studies and designs for bridge and other transportation structural elements
Prepares necessary plans, specifications, estimates, and technical memorandums.
Qualifications
Minimum:
Bachelor’s Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering or related field and 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
PE (Professional Engineer) in South Carolina or ability to transfer through reciprocity
Preferred:
Knowledge of industry standards and practices
Experience with Local SCDOT bridge projects.
Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering or related field

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $125,000.00 - $180,000.00.
