AECOM Geotechnical Engineer in Columbus, Ohio

AECOM is currently seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our team of professionals in our Cleveland, Ohio office.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Provide geotechnical expertise in support of on-going AECOM projects, which include large design-build transportation projects and ongoing programs for power clients.
Undertake analysis and design for geotechnical components related to highway projects, dams, oil and gas, building structures, and other civil infrastructure projects, and prepare and compile technical reports, specifications, and technical drawings.
Manage geotechnical field investigation programs including utility locates, traffic management, subcontractors, field and laboratory testing
Work with and provide technical leadership, technical review and mentoring to geotechnical staff engineers working within our group and region.
Maintain positive working relationships with client contacts, suppliers, contractors, engineering consultants and external agencies. Assist with business development efforts aimed at prospective clients, and actively participate in local and regional collaborative opportunities.

BS in Civil Engineering with 4 years of relevant experience in Geotechnical Engineering, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Must have valid U.S. Driver's license.
Ability to obtain Ohio PE license within 2 years
Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering with 5-12 years of relevant experience in Geotechnical Engineering.
Existing OH PE license or ability to obtain license within 6 months
Specific geotechnical experience on large highway projects and conversant with geotechnical aspects of the AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Code
Previous project management experience
Experience with managing engineering personnel and/or teams
