Job Description
AECOM is seeking an Entry-Level Highway Design Engineer in the Greater Philadelphia Area to be based in Conshohocken, PA. As an Entry Level Highway Design Engineer, you will gain experience working as part of a team on medium to large-scale transportation projects in the Greater Pennsylvania Area.
This position is scheduled to begin in January 2024.

I-95 Reconstruction in Philadelphia, PA
US-22 Reconstruction in Allentown, PA
I-81 Reconstruction in Scranton, PA
SR-1 Reconstruction in Chester County, PA
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
You will build analytic and design skills, create designs, perform calculations, and draft construction plans under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
Design of roadway geometry, traffic control, signing and pavement markings
Utility coordination support
Computer Aided Design production
Calculation of quantities and cost estimates
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
Preferred Qualifications:
Related experience in a relevant internship or professional work experience in support of transportation design.
FE/EIT (any state)
Proficient in MS Office Suite.
Demonstrate effective time management, task prioritization, and strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work productively in a team environment.
Professionalism in verbal and written communications.
Ability to adapt to shifting priorities/work schedules.
Receptive to comments and direction provided by others.
Valid U.S. Driver’s License preferred to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices when public transportation is not available.
