Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Project Management Manager for a future project that will be coming up within the next 3-6months. We are seeking someone with experience as an owner’s representative for a municipal courthouse project located in the city of Miami as well as an administrative high rise building. The project is a County Courthouse with 25 stories and 46 courtrooms. The candidate will serve and the County’s representative and project manager for AVIT Installation and integration, FF and E Installation, Punch-list and close out coordination and other project management activities as required. This is a Hybrid role and does require days in office.
This person will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
Responsible for the overall management administration to project and assists in establishing project specific objectives and policies.
Provides management and guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies, and a primary liaison between AECOM and client interface.
Oversees and ensures all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule through subordinate managers and supervisors.
Responsible for administering the project from budgeting/schedule stage through procurement and contract closeout. Position has significant profit/loss responsibility for assigned project.
General Contractor Construction Management Support
Availability to be on-site at the Courthouse or Administrative Building as needed by the client, but no less than three times per week for client site walk-through to review overall building progress
Attend biweekly Contractor Progress Meetings in-person at Contractor’s office
Monitor Contractor Construction Schedule –
Review Contractor monthly schedules, liaise with AECOM scheduling subcontractor to provide monthly reviews/memos summarizing schedule updates and providing recommendations to the County.
Work with current AECOM Construction Manager to compare actual progress to scheduled progress – provide reports to County
Work with current AECOM Construction Manager to identify construction or contractual deficiencies, document them in reports, and track resolution with Contractor
Review change orders and provide recommendations
Review supervening events and provide recommendations
Review RFIs and provide recommendations
Review and comment on General Contractor Quality Management reports
Furniture Fixtures & Equipment (FFE) & Security Systems Equipment (SSE) Vendor Support
Provide onsite support to monitor progress of vendors with County contracts.
Review vendor invoices - provide recommendations to County, complete onsite field verification of work complete
Assist in County punch listing
Facilitate punch-listing process
Accompany County personnel and Stakeholders on punch list site walks
Identify punch list items
Record County punch list items
Track completion of punch list items with Contractor
Attend all project meetings including but not limited to: weekly - action log meeting, AVIT progress meeting, General Contractor progress meeting, Stakeholder meeting, AV/IT coordination meeting, etc.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
BA/BS + 8 years of required experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
U.S. Citizenship required, due to the nature of the work
Possesses a background in construction experience
Owner’s representative experience
High-rise or mid-rise building experience
Preferred Requirements
Strong communication and writing skills
10 years of engineering or construction related project management experience
Experience in construction quality assurance is a plus

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $150,000.00 - $204,496.00.
