AECOM Systems Analyst in Crane, Indiana

Job Summary

AECOM is looking for a Systems Analyst to support the Quality Assurance Branch of Flight Systems Division. The candidate will formulate and define systems scope and objectives through user needs and an understanding of business systems and industry requirements.

Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Perform customer requirement analysis for existing or proposed systems to determine feasibility and objectives of requests.

  2. Ensure security rules and system constraints are followed.

  3. Direct on-site customer interface for program guidance, testing, systems analysis, and other system related tasks as needed.

  5. Install systems and trains customers on proper use.

  6. Manage division email and distribution groups in MS outlook.

  7. Assists with basic set-up of computers for division.

  8. Support with computers and projectors set up in conference rooms.

  9. Provides users with technical support.

  10. Provides general user support and setup for computers received by new employees and general user support for printers, computers, etc.

  11. Maintaining intermittent contact with all levels of management, unit supervision, coworkers, and other personnel within the organization.

Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:

Typical office environment with no unusual hazards; however, the position requires walking, bending, stooping, lifting up to 40 pounds, and minimal climbing to retrieve supplies. The incumbent must be able to manipulate computer keyboards and view and interpret computer displays. Contacts are maintained for the purpose of receiving/giving information to system users regarding the performance of their jobs and to resolve situations regarding network or PC problems. Most work is performed in an office environment; however, some work is occasionally performed in proximity to electrical circuits of varying voltages.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, or related field, and 2 years of job-related experience or equivalent.

  • Good written and oral communication and organizational skills.

  • Position will require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.

  • CompTIA Security+ Certification is required before hire.
