Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a Jr. Systems Engineer to provide analytical support for Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health aspects of a Marine Corps Program of Record. The position will be located in Stafford, VA at either the client’s or Contractor’s location.

Essential Responsibilities:

Conducting engineering and technical assessments of Technical Reviews to include addressing issues of preparedness, preparing comments and adjudications, and closing out action items;

Developing, reviewing, analyzing, and updating acquisition and safety related documentation, including but not limited to:

SOWs, Human Systems Integration Program Plan, Safety Databases, National Environmental Policy Act, Programmatic Environmental, Safety, and Health Evaluation, CDRLs, SEP, Weapon System Explosives Safety Review Board, Programmatic ESOH Evaluations, Safety Assessment Reports, Safety Releases, Safety of Use Message (SOUM), Deadline Safety of Use Message

Minimum Requirements

Providing support to organize, conduct, and manage the internal ESOH Advisory Board and Working Groups;

Attending and supporting System Engineering WIPTs; and

Organizing and managing the Hazard Tracking Database, and Program safety documentation.

B.A., B.S. or 6 years related experience in lieu of a degree

Two years or less experience with ESOH management

Ability to obtain a SECRET clearance

Position may require up to 10% travel

Experience working with Marine Corps’ Programs of Record

Active SECRET clearance

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with Marine Corps’ Programs of Record preferred
