Job Description
AECOM is seeking a BIM/VDC Specialist to be based in Dallas, TX.
This position is expected to begin March 2024

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Report to Digital Technology Manager.
Assists the BIM Coordination Manager with meetings, clash detection, and issue reporting.
Assists with creating and modifying 3D models, virtual mock-ups, renderings and/or animations for promotion, proposals, and logistics.
Manage VDC technology initiatives that have been implemented to support project goals.
Regular check-ins to job sites to support and serve project teams.
May help to create or maintain standards, processes, and goals.
Manage electronic file structure on cloud-based file repository.
Interface between Design Consultants and Subcontracted BIM Drafters.
Jobsite tech setup, training, and support.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or other related field or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficient with production, interpretation, and utilization of 3D modeling techniques
Working knowledge of drawing production, standard construction techniques, and principles.
AEC software expertise: Revit, Sketchup, Navisworks, and Revizto
Skills in TwinMotion, Synchro, Lumion, and Unity
Knowledge of Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) a plus
Show high work ethic, working long hours when needed
Passionate about the industry & process improvement, bringing new solutions to the table

This position will not provide relocation assistance.
This position offers the flexibility of some remote days and days in office.
