Job Summary

  • Works with the Company estimating systems and processes.

  • Acquire basic level of understanding of estimating terminology, measures, concepts and principles for preparing estimates.

  • Recognizes how various processes/project actions and assumptions may impact estimates.

  • Under supervision prepares bid packages, conceptual estimates and analysis of subcontractor bids, etc. for projects.

  • Performs duties with limited complexity under direct supervision, such as material take offs, compilation of historical data, etc.

  • Expected to assist in the preparation of larger and more complex estimating assignments including the Estimate Plan.

Minimum Requirements

HS/GED + 6 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Excellent organizational, decision making, and problem solving skills essential

Must be computer literate and receptive to emerging technology and software programs

Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse screening

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in commercial estimating and related functions plus thorough knowledge of corporate objectives impacting estimating, estimating strategies and techniques, and construction contracts preferred.
