Job Description

AECOM is seeking an Investor Relations Sr. Manager or Director to join our Corporate Finance team. Reporting directly to the SVP, Corporate Finance & Treasurer, the Investor Relations Sr. Manager or Director will work with analysts, investors, and management (handle multiple constituents).

This position will be full time in-office based, located in the Dallas TX area with presence at both our Dallas, TX and Southlake, TX offices.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide in-depth business analysis and reporting to VP of IR and Senior Management

  • Engage with global business leaders to develop relationships critical to formulating accurate messaging

  • Engage at a senior level with internal partners in communications, finance, FP&A, and controllership groups

  • Be accountable for major initiatives from investor day planning to financial reporting

  • Provide detailed competitor analysis

  • Conduct regular shareholder targeting

  • Develop and foster investor and analyst relationships

  • Conduct ad hoc analysis to support IR and enterprise finance objectives

  • Develop and maintain network of relationships within the Company to support deep analysis of business trends

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

For Sr. Manager:

  • BA/BS plus at least 10 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including at least 2 years of leadership experience

For Director:

  • BA/BS plus at least 12 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education including at least 4 years of leadership experience

As well as:

  • Proven track record of leading direct reports

  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data, including financial statements, key financial ratios, valuation models and techniques

  • High proficiency in Excel and Powerpoint; experience involving extensive work with complex spreadsheets

  • Team player with excellent listening skills and diplomacy; willingness to work with multiple different colleagues on a variety of initiatives

  • Ability to work in a high-paced environment with a sense of urgency

  • Strong organizational skills – ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Consultative, service-oriented mindset and collaborative problem-solving skills

  • Proactive and goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently and manage change effectively

  • History of preparing and delivering client ready work

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in similarly large, complex, publicly traded companies

  • Investment banking background and experience preferred

  • MBA from a leading institution

  • CFA license

  • Outstanding oral communication, written and presentation skills

  • Combination of both investor relations and core finance experience

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $133,500.00 - $225,000.00.
