Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Project Coordinator for immediate employment for the Dallas, TX office. AECOM is proud to provide our employees with exciting, challenging projects.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Provide support to the Project/Construction Manager(s) on one or more aviation projects in the areas of project management, contract administration, document control and general administrative support

  • Assist in the preparation of the project-related documents (meeting minutes, reports, correspondence, etc.)

  • Assist the Project/Construction Manager(s) with processing and maintaining all project-related documentation, including but not limited to:

◦Progress payments of design consultants and construction contractors

◦Submittals and Requests For Information (RFIs)

◦Shop drawings

◦Project-related correspondence

◦Daily and special inspection reports

  • Maintain (and implement as needed) an appropriate document control system for the project(s)

  • Assist with project controls and quality issues and related reporting requirements

  • Assist in the review and processing of progress payments

  • Assist in tracking and documenting non-conforming work

  • Assist in processing change orders, claims, and revisions to the contractual schedule and budget

  • Research technical (drawings and specifications) and contractual issues related to design and construction contracts

  • Coordinate and communicate with design consultants, construction contractors, DFW personnel and others as necessary to expedite the timely resolution of issues

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university and no experience required OR

  • Associates degree and 2 years of related experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Project or Construction Management

  • 3+ years of experience performing similar activities

  • Knowledge of scheduling, spreadsheet, document and database software
