Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic global team in support of the localized implementation of Talent Management + Equity Diversity + Inclusion (ED+I) strategies and bring to life the global vision for an inclusive, talent focused learning culture at AECOM.

As a Sr. ED&I and Talent Specialist, you will collaborate across the Americas regions, working closely with the ED&I Director, Talent Management Lead, and TA and HR teams. Your mission will be to develop and execute strategies, programs, and initiatives that create an environment where every employee thrives.

This position will offer flexibility for hybrid work schedules (to include both in-office presence and virtual/telecommute) to be based from either Dallas, TX or Atlanta, GA.

Keys aspects of this role:

  • Strategic Collaboration: Engage with three strategic functions: ED&I, talent management, and talent development.

  • Global Coordination : Work with regional ED&I teams worldwide to leverage best practices and advance AECOM’s global strategy and vision.

  • Talent Management : Partner with AMERS and global talent management leads to implement talent management processes.

  • Learning and Development : Collaborate with the global learning team to support the implementation of global learning programs for the Americas, including delivering employee development programs and fostering a learning culture at AECOM.

This role offers a unique opportunity to influence and enhance AECOM's commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion while supporting the growth and development of our talent across the Americas.

Roles & Responsibilities

ED&I

  • Assist with the ongoing development and refinement of the Americas ED&I strategy and implementation.

  • Lead the roll out of ED&I programs such as Reverse Mentoring, Microinequities training

  • Support ED&I governance and coordination including support for Americas steerco meetings, ED&I Champions meetings, ED&I townhalls and ERG engagement

  • Take the lead on building toolkits and other materials for employees and managers, to help advance ED&I priorities

  • Support the ongoing work of the ERGs across the Americas including communications, enrollment, best practices, events, conferences etc

  • Support with data analysis and data collection through HR analytics dashboards and through employee surveys

  • Assist with ED&I-related communications across the Americas (review of communications, participate in communications strategy discussions, etc.)

  • Lead the completion of applications for accreditations and awards related to ED&I

  • Support work winning efforts as they relate to ED&I

  • Promote ED&I into all our people processes

Talent Development + Management

  • Participate in the delivery of Graduate Development programming in the Americas

  • Work with global early careers team to implement global recommendations for the AMERS

  • Manage and support the global framework for talent management through local implementation and delivery of talent management activities including talent programs, performance, and individual development plans and tools for identified candidates

  • Facilitate global leadership program content for the AMERS audience in support of the Leadership at all Levels framework including high-potential and manager development programs.

  • Support leader development through coaching on the AECOM Leadership Capabilities 360

  • Facilitate assessments through AECOM Assessment center (DiSC, GlobeSmart etc)

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • BA/BS plus at least 6 years of relevant experience including Employee Engagement/Communication, Learning & Development, Talent Management/Development, ED&I, etc. (OR AS degree plus 8 years of relevant experience as above, OR High School diploma plus at least 10 years of relevant experience as above)

  • Highly organized with good project management skills

  • Excellent stakeholder management and networking skills

  • Solid presentation skills are essential

  • Knowledgeable and passionate on the topic of ED&I and the employee experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working within similarly large, complex, global organizations

  • Excellent Excel skills a plus

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Facilitation/training delivery experience

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $95,000.00 - $120,000.00.
