Job Description

Build analytic and design skills. Conduct engineering design under the supervision of an experienced engineer. Create designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings under the supervision of an experienced engineer. Collects and analyzes data under the supervision of an experienced engineer. Assist traffic engineers and project managers on projects related to traffic capacity analysis, feasibility studies, traffic modeling, signal design, signal timing, signal systems, ITS, traffic operations, traffic impact analyses, and other related traffic engineering work. Participate in client interaction. Work with various multi-disciplined project teams. Utilize traffic engineering software: Synchro, HCS, and SIDRA. Utilize Microstation and/or AutoCAD.

Qualifications

Requires a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or one (1) year of experience in traffic engineering; participating in client interaction; working with various multi-disciplined project teams; utilizing traffic engineering software: Synchro, HCS, and SIDRA; utilizing Microstation and/or AutoCAD; and creating designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings and final working drawings under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
