Job Description

AECOM is seeking a Transportation Drainage Project Manager IV to join our team in Dallas or Fort Worth, Texas. This role requires expertise in managing complex drainage projects and leading multidisciplinary teams.

As the Transportation Drainage Project Manager IV, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing one or more highly complex projects, including:

  • Overseeing projects with clients that have a national presence

  • Coordinating a range of Integrated Engineering services

  • Handling multifaceted projects involving litigation, environmental protection, due diligence, and other complex factors

  • Overseeing projects from inception to completion, ensuring all deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations

  • Navigating and complying with consenting and regulatory authority requirements

  • Providing leadership and guidance to a team of Project Managers, fostering their professional development and ensuring project success

This position requires a high level of expertise in transportation drainage systems and the ability to manage complex, multidisciplinary projects effectively.

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree + 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering

  • 6+ years of previous design experience on transportation projects including Schematic Development and/or Preparation of Plans, Specifications and Estimates (PS&E)

  • Texas PE license

  • Experience designing highway/roadway systems and drainage systems

  • Experience with GeoPak Drainage, SWMM, HY-8, and HEC Programs

  • Experience managing multidisciplinary project with subconsultants

  • Experience with design software including MicroStation and GEOPAK and/or OpenRoads

  • Familiar with MS Office 2010 software (Excel, Word, Project) is a big plus

  • Experience with H&H reports

  • Experience with SUDA

  • Experience in preparing CLOMR/LOMR and Coordination with Local Flood Plain Administrators/AgenciesTxDOT Pre-certifications (Schematic Development, Roadway Design, Hydrologic Studies, Roadway Hydraulic Design, Bridge Hydraulic Design, Storm Water Pump Station-Hydraulic Design, Bridge Scour Evaluation and Analysis, Coastal Hydraulic Design, Riverive Hydraulic Design, and FEMA Regulations and Permits)

  • Experience with Business Development/Client Relations

  • Experience with TxDOT proposals and interviews

  • Proven experience of success with TxDOT pursuits

  • Experience with managing people at various experience levels and ability to mentor with their career development

  • Good communication skills and ability to manage a team

  • Exposure to drainage projects in Edwards Aquifer Zone and Water Quality Plans

  • Exposure to drainage system in coastal environments

Additional Information

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $95,656.00 - $176,964.00.
