Job Description
The Transportation Business Line of AECOM is actively seeking a high caliber Construction Manager for immediate employment in Denver, CO . The appropriately qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate a proven track record of successfully managing and performing quality activities for construction projects in the Denver area.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Provides guidance to employees within the latitude of established policies.
Establishes procedures that affect immediate organization.
Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including understanding of current business trends.
Acts as advisor to subordinates to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems.
May have budget responsibilities.
Erroneous decision or failure to achieve results adds to costs and may impact short-term goals of organization.
Oversees the administration of projects during the construction cycle including technical, financial, and client satisfaction.
Accountable for the development, coordination, and execution of the planning, design and/or construction management activities and personnel under individual's direction on a day-to-day
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
BA/BS + 8 Years Of Relevant Experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Valid Driver’s License required
Preferred Qualifications
8+ years of experience with construction of highways/roads/bridges.
Able to effectively communicate and negotiate with contractors and clients.
Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience with Colorado highway/bridge construction and maintenance projects.
Extensive knowledge of highway/bridge design, construction and material.
Thorough knowledge of Caltrans specifications & construction contract administration procedures.

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $115,000.00 - $135,000.00.
