AECOM Lead Marketing Proposal Specialist in Denver, Colorado

Job Summary

AECOM has a position available for a Lead Marketing Proposal Specialist preferably located in Denver, CO or Chicago, IL, however, AECOM offers the selected candidate the freedom and flexibility to work remotely if/as necessary. In this role, the qualified candidate will collaborate with the Energy marketing and technical team on identified priority pursuits, including partnering in the preparation of formal and informal client solicitations, including expressions of interest (EOI), requests for qualifications (RFQ), requests for proposals (RFP), pre-qualification efforts and SF330 submittals.

The responsibilities of this position include, but may not be limited to, the following:

  • Create/Lead complex, large marketing proposals, presentations, and printed qualification materials in response to formal and informal client solicitations, including Requests for Qualifications (RFQ), Requests for Proposals (RFP) and/or for pre-selling efforts, including schedule, templates, compliance, content planning, and production.

  • Interface with various levels in management responsible for imparting information.

  • Participate in capture planning and positioning activities as they pertain to preparation for the proposal.

  • Facilitate quality reviews, and applies lessons learned to add value to proposals.

  • Support debriefs and gathering of client feedback on proposals to ensure and demonstrate continuous improvement.

  • Provide mentoring and guidance to junior specialists

DCS—Energy

Minimum Requirements

  • BA/BS degree and 6+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

  • Demonstrated technical expertise required using desktop publishing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite), graphics programs (e.g., InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop) as well as word processing programs (e.g., Microsoft Word), spreadsheet management (Excel), and presentation software (e.g., PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree preferred in Journalism, English, Communications, Marketing or a related field

  • 10+ years of relevant marketing proposal experience desired

  • Previous experience and technical knowledge of collaborative tools such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, etc.

  • Previous experience mentoring junior level staff desired

  • Prior A/E/C Experience

  • APMP/SMPS certification preferred.

  • An understanding of CRM. Salesforce experience is a plus.
