Job Description

Transfer Pricing-Tax Manager

As a Transfer Pricing-Tax Manager you will be an integral part of a dynamic tax team working under the guidance of Tax Planning and Controversy leadership. In doing so, you will have the opportunity to help manage and guide the global team and be part of a best-in-class tax group that will help develop your skills and advance your career.

This position will offer flexibility for remote or hybrid (combination of remote and in-office) schedules.

The Transfer Pricing-Tax Manager will be responsible for assisting, overseeing and coordinating key AECOM global transfer pricing matters, including:

  • US and global transfer pricing planning,

  • Global documentation,

  • Global Tax controversy,

  • BEPS transfer pricing initiatives, and

  • Broader tax planning initiatives.

Reporting to the Director, Transfer Pricing you will be responsible for:

  • Managing and overseeing detailed economic and financial analyses.

  • Collaborating with other members of the AECOM corporate and regional tax teams and the business functional teams (e.g. controllership, finance, legal, operations) concerning transfer pricing and broader tax planning and controversy matters.

  • Managing the preparation of US and global transfer pricing documentation as well as broader transfer pricing controversy, including audits, APAs, and other related matters.

  • Operating as a key global technical resource for transfer pricing review and analysis of complex intercompany transactions (e.g., IP valuation and other valuation issues).

  • Assisting in the development of team members abroad and reviewing working papers and deliverables.

  • Assisting in the automation of various tax processes to increase agility, accuracy, and efficiencies.

  • Taking ownership, working independently, and teaming effectively.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • BA in Economics, Finance, Management, Business, Mathematics/Statistics, or similar plus at least 5 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

  • Experience working in Transfer Pricing with a working knowledge of International and/or Federal Corporate Tax

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in a relevant field is preferred

  • CPA License preferred.

  • Alteryx experience preferred.

  • Advanced Degree in Taxation, Business, Law or related field preferred.

  • Ability to understand complex tax concepts and apply business facts.

  • Ability to drive business change and to implement complex tax projects.

  • Ability to recognize key issues and effectively communicate those to management and service providers in an articulate and concise manner.

  • Quantitative analytical skills including ability to review and analyze financial reports.

  • Knowledge of US and international taxation.

  • Knowledge of business and intangible property valuation methods is helpful.

  • Good interpersonal skills, including ability and desire to collaborate with others throughout the tax and broader finance groups.

  • In addition, the candidate should possess outstanding communication skills, and have the ability to work within a diverse team of colleagues around the world.

Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $150,000.
