AECOM is actively seeking experienced, creative, and highly talented Building Engineering Technician IV to support the Engineering Technical Services Support Contract for the Facilities Engineering and Maintenance Branch at NASA Armstrong at Edwards AFB, CA.
The responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Monitors and documents conformance with quality, performance, safety and code requirements
Activities will include assisting with engineering calculations, setting up and operating equipment, inspecting equipment and construction activities for compliance with specifications and maintaining project documentation
General understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines

High School Diploma and 6+ years of relevant experience or combination of education and experience

This position requires frequent (more than 50% of the workday) standing/walking, work in an environment of heavy, moving, dangerous equipment, keyboard/mouse operations, repetitive or fine hand movements, and lifting less than 25 pounds; often (25-50% of the workday) climbing stairs; occasionally (10-25% of the workday) operating vehicles, operating heavy, moving or dangerous equipment, and lifting 25-50 pounds; rarely (less than 10% of the workday) working with arms above shoulder level, performing repetitive bending/stooping, power gripping/squeezing (hand tools, levers, etc.), working at heights, using portable ladders, wearing fall protection, working in confined spaces, working alone in isolated/remote areas, and lifting 50-75 pounds. Position will include wearing associated personal protective equipment, including gloves, safety glasses/goggles, face shield, safety shoes/boots, and hard hat.
- Bachelor's Degree in civil, mechanical or electrical engineering and 2+ years of experience, or 5+ years of construction quality assurance inspection industry experience
