AECOM Senior Scheduler in Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Job Summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Scheduler for projects in the Fort Lauderdale, FL area.

Responsibilities include but not limited to : developing master project schedules detailed design, engineering and construction critical path schedules (CPM) via Primavera P6. Updating and maintaining schedules at regular intervals, identify and record the impact of work performed, and/or not performed as scheduled.

Candidates develop, generate, update, and provide overall management of various types of program master and project schedules, site staging, and logic plans. Provide resource/cost loading of project schedules, prepare proposal schedules while interfacing with other departments.

Lead the analysis and preparation of complex construction claims and executes construction claims service and provide training to program project managers. Review contractor baseline schedules for reasonableness, prepare reports on schedule deficiencies; Review contractor schedule submittals for conformance with contract and constructability; Review baseline and update submissions for adherence to recognized good scheduling practices in relation to: cost loading, schedule content, use of relationships and lag, constraints, and milestones; Perform schedule impact analysis for contractor change orders and conduct schedule negotiations for contractor change orders and claims; Perform earned value analysis and prepare manpower and spending forecast curves utilizing schedule data. Project-based tasks to include fact-finding to detailed analysis, quantification of delay and damages, economic and strategy formation.

Minimum Requirements

  • BA/BS + 8 Years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

  • Valid US drivers' license

  • Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is required

Experience with Primavera P6
