AECOM Stationary Engineer in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri

Monitors the operations of a military/industrial facility through means of a direct digital control work station as well as physical walk thru checks. Recording of data from specific equipment is also required. The job involves minimal supervision with the ability to identify issues as they arise and react according to documented guidance from plans.
Monday – Wednesday (3:00pm – 11:30pm) / Thursday – Friday (11:00pm – 07:30am)
Monitors the Direct Digital control workstation for all alarms.
Conducts periodic walk thru checks of the facility to identify issues with plumbing, electrical, compressed air, HVAC, etc.
Maintains accurate log books, data sheets and other historical systems under his/her control.
Follows a continuity book which indicates required reactions to alarms.
Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:
Typical office environment with no unusual hazards, occasional lifting to 20 pounds, constant sitting while using the computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, must posses planning/organizing skills, and must be able to work under deadlines.

Procedure Compliance - Each employee must read, understand and implement the general and specific operational, safety, quality and environmental requirements of all plans, procedures and policies pertaining to his/her job.
High School Diploma and at least three years of job-related experience in a commercial, industrial, manufacturing, or warehouse setting.
Good communications and analytical skills; working knowledge of common computer software and able to operate general office equipment.
Must be able to wear a full face respirator with accompanying PPE and perform duties if needed
Must have industrial/commercial maintenance experience.
Must be a U.S. or Naturalized citizen.
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and a government background check.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC).
Must be able to read, write and speak English.
