Job Summary

The Project Manager (PM), as part of the Project Support Cell (PSC) will support the NetOps Solutions Division Government Project Lead in managing the project team through all phases of the project lifecycle. The PSC PM will be responsible for assisting with project lifecycle activities to include documenting project requirements, ensuring accuracy of project artifacts, creating and maintaining MS Project schedules, identification of critical path, issues, and risks, facilitating project execution, and developing Program Review briefings. The PSC PM is responsible for monitoring and reporting the day-to-day project status. Position may require travel.


  • Develop/Maintain Task Order deliverables to include but not limited to:

  • Develop project plans to implement the Solution Descriptions

  • Work with the Government PMs to update the status of milestones

  • Develop project artifacts and ensure that they are current in the SharePoint portal, to include quad charts

  • Immediately escalate any issues in project execution to the responsible Government PM

  • Identify milestones, critical path, risks, issues, and dependencies

  • Participate in In-Process Reviews (IPRs) and other project meetings as required

  • Maintain, make suggestions to and update the Division project management and Request for Work (RFW) process guides on a quarterly basis

  • Maintain, make suggestions to and update the SharePoint-based automation solution that provides situational awareness to the Division and external personnel in processing of RFW’s and management of projects

  • Monitor the RFW flow process and report delays, anomalies, or other issues to the Government PSC Lead in accordance with documented escalation processes

Minimum Requirements

  • DoD active Top Secret Security Clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least seven (7) years of job related experience or equivalent

  • PMP Certification

  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills are required

  • Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and expert understanding of the Project Management Lifecycle

  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office, i.e. Project Word, PowerPoint, Excel is required

  • Excellent oral and written skills; comfortable communicating with senior leaders and interacting with clients

  • Ability to read/write process documentation and develop executive PowerPoint briefs

  • Must be detail oriented with high degree of accuracy and ability to multitask in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment

  • SharePoint proficiency required

  • Experience working in an Agile environment is preferred

  • Good understanding of DISA’s mission and the agency’s efforts to plan, evolve, operate and sustain the DoD Information Systems Network (DISN) capabilities and associated Operational Support Systems (OSS)

  • Demonstrate large scale information technology skills and experience related to DISN and OSS systems
