AECOM Roadway Design Engineer - Drainage in Franklin, Tennessee
AECOM is actively seeking a talented Roadway Design Engineer (Drainage) to join a dynamic and highly technical team of planners, engineers, and technicians in the Franklin, TN office. As a roadway design engineer, you will lead design projects for a variety of clients in public and private industries. You will also have the opportunity to be part of cutting-edge design projects that utilize the latest technologies for delivering design services to clients.
Roadway drainage design
Bridge/culvert hydraulic analyses
Erosion and sedimentation control
Other related design tasks
Plan production and development of bid sets
Coordinating with other disciplines
Obtaining permits required from regulatory agencies
Interact and coordinate regularly with clients and sub-consultants in the various assignments

BS Civil Engineer with 4+ years of related experience or equivalent experience and/or education
MicroStation/Geopak Drainage, OpenRoads, or similar design applications
StormCAD, HydroCAD, Autodesk Storm and Sanitary Analysis, SWMM, GEOPAK Drainage, or other stormwater design and modeling applications
HEC-RAS knowledge and usage
Valid driver's license
Professional Engineer License
4+ years of roadway drainage experience
Projects with state, local, or federal agencies
Additional experience in civil/site drainage
Ability to work effectively in a team-based, collaborative environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, good time management skills, a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a strong desire to learn
