Job Description

AECOM is actively seeking for a talented Sr. Civil/Site Project Engineer for our Franklin, TN office.

Daily duties and responsibilities:

  • Conceptual development

  • Grading and drainage design

  • Site utility design (water/sewer/etc.)

  • Pavement, parking, and ADA accessible design

  • Erosion and sedimentation control

  • Other related design tasks

  • Plan production and development of bid sets

  • Coordinating with other disciplines

  • Obtaining permits required from regulatory agencies

  • Client relationships and business development

  • Interact and coordinate regularly with clients and sub consultants in the various assignments

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:BS Civil Engineer with six (6) or more years of related experience or equivalent experience and/or educationAutoCAD and Civil3D or similar design applicationsStormCAD, HydroCAD, Autodesk Storm and Sanitary Analysis, SWMM, GEOPAK Drainage, or other stormwater design and modeling applicationsValid driver's license PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Professional Engineer LicenseEight (8) plus years of civil/site design experienceProjects with industrial, commercial, and/or residential clients.Greenways, park facilities, and recreational facility experience​Ability to work effectively in a team-based, collaborative environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skills, good time management skills, a strong work ethic, attention to detail and a strong desire to learn
