AECOM Senior Portfolio, Program, Project Analyst (DHS) in Germantown, Maryland
Job Summary
AECOM is seeking a motivated Senior Portfolio, Program, Project Analyst based in Germantown, Maryland area.
This position requires an understanding of training methods and a conceptual understanding of technologies including immersive learning, gaming technologies, and other advanced methods. This individual must be able to assist Government staff in preparing for, attending, and documenting outcomes/action items from meetings. The creation of monthly reports and the ability to provide technical input into those reports.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Assist program managers in their execution of programs within the Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) process encompassing
technology foraging and scouting; research and development; test and evaluation; systems & operational analysis and engineering; operational testing and integration; information management
technology transfer, transition, and commercialization; and risk management and mitigation
Will be required to assist with defining requirements; provides input to project scope, schedule and budget based on an understanding of the program lifecycle
Assist in maintaining changes to project baselines; monitors deliverables; assess documents, plans and applications; conducts quality reviews of projects and tasks
Prepares presentations and other materials to support project functions. Leads activities to identify project risks and assist in the development of mitigation plans
Drafts correspondence, reports, white papers, minutes, spreadsheets, communications products, briefs, and other documentation. Maintains and tracks action items and participates in meetings
Will be required to support the development of procurement requests to include having and applying practical knowledge of the acquisition process as outlined in the Federal Acquisition Regulation in order to formulate various acquisition approaches
Assist in drafting various documents supporting a procurement
Will be relied upon to provided technical and procurement guidance to junior contractor staff on the team

We provide technical support to nine different DHS components and directorates, providing the government homeland security expertise for over 30 years. Minimum Requirements
BA/BS plus 4 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Must be a US citizen
Must possess or be able to obtain Top Secret or Secret security clearances
Must pass a State and Federal criminal history/security background check; many projects/clients are security sensitive
Must pass pre-employment drug screen
Preferred Qualifications
BA/BS plus 10 years of related experience or Master’s plus 5 years of related experience
Software skills including MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
Physically able, with or without an accommodation, to work in an on-site indoor/office environment. Position often requires keyboard/mouse operations; occasionally standing/walking; rarely working with arms above shoulder level, repetitive bending/stooping, climbing stairs, repetitive or fine hand movements, and lifting 50 pounds or less

Gaming software skills including a conceptual understanding in the gaming simulation technology space including architecture of these software
